EndoVE

Endoscopic Reversible Electroporation

EndoVE is an endoscopic reversible electroporation device used with ePORE technology for electrochemotherapy procedures.

ePORE: Reversible Electroporation

The ePore system is an innovative medical device for electrochemotherapy (ECT) in accordance with the standard ESOPE procedures.

Mirai Medical developed an innovative electroporator called ePore, enabling a low-energy and less painful approach to ECT.

The ePore system delivers electrical pulses for reversible electroporation at a frequency of 250 kHz, reducing muscle contractions and the related pain during and after the procedure. This unique feature — high-frequency pulse generation — enables electroporative treatments under local anesthesia.

The ePORE generator is indicated for:

  • Local treatment of cutaneous and subcutaneous metastases, regardless of histology or prior treatments.
  • Endoscopic treatment of solid tumors.
  • Treatment of vascular malformations via electrosclerotherapy.

EndoVE: Endoscopic Reversible Electroporation

The EndoVE device is used in connection with ePORE technology. It is dedicated to endoscopic reversible electroporation within ducts and is specifically designed for intraluminal gastrointestinal introduction using a standard endoscope. Thanks to ePore technology, an electric field is delivered directly to the tissue. The tissue is treated by suction into the EndoVE chamber (vacuum pressure).

Clinical indications include:

  • Inoperable esophageal tumors.
  • Advanced-stage, inoperable colorectal/anal tumors.
  • Inoperable gastric tumors or tumors not suitable for standard therapies.
  • Bleeding lesions requiring frequent transfusions.
  • Treatment of vascular malformations of the rhinopharyngeal tract.

Also applicable in early stages as a neoadjuvant debulking approach, under sedation or general anesthesia.
